Terms & Conditions

Booking and Deposit:

A deposit of $1000 is due upon booking to secure your session. The remaining balance is due after your wedding day. The deposit is part of the total session fee and is applied toward the final amount.

Rescheduling:

If you wish to reschedule your booking, a minimum of three (3) months’ notice is required. The session fee may be transferred to a new date subject to availability. Please note that any promotions, discounts, or legacy pricing previously applied will not carry over. The rescheduled booking will be subject to the company’s current pricing and package structure at the time of rebooking.

If less than three (3) months’ notice is given, the session fee will be forfeited.

Only one reschedule is permitted per wedding. If a second reschedule is requested, the session fee will be forfeited.

 

Cancellations and Refunds:

The deposit is fully refundable in the case of a cancellation due to government-imposed Covid-19 restrictions. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of a client-initiated cancellation or change of mind. In the event that the photographer is unable to attend the wedding due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency), a full refund of the deposit will be issued, or an alternative photographer may be arranged.

Payment & Orders:

Orders and final images will not be delivered until the full payment has been received. The client is responsible for ensuring payment is made before any images are released.

Content format / special requests:

Edited photos are delivered in high-quality JPG format. Raw photos may also be provided in their original camera formats (such as RAW, CR3, NEF, depending on the camera used). Videos are delivered in Full HD (1080p) at 25fps. Raw video files are supplied in Full HD and are not colour graded. The ceremony and speeches are captured in full. The remainder of the wedding day is filmed as short, curated clips intended to create a highlight video. If you have any special requests or specific photo or video ideas, please confirm them with us in email prior to the wedding so we can assess feasibility and plan accordingly. We accommodate special requests to the best of our abilities; however, due to creative, technical, and situational factors beyond our control, specific outcomes or results cannot be guaranteed.

Image Storage & Liability:

Client image files will be stored and available on our server for 3 months following the wedding (you can purchase a USB service if you wish them delivered to you). While every effort will be made to ensure suitable storage, the photographer is not responsible for the loss of images due to circumstances outside their control, such as equipment failure. Clients may request the return of images within this period; after 3 months, images will be permanently deleted.

Force Majeure:

Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of this contract due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemic, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, circumstances such as the inability to fly a drone due to adverse weather conditions or airspace restrictions.

Copyright & Image Use: The photographer retains copyright over all images produced. Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use the images for personal purposes (e.g., printing, sharing on social media). Commercial use of the images is not permitted without prior written consent from the photographer.

Extra Hours: Extra hours booked before the deposit is paid will be charged at $100 per hour, per staff member. Once the deposit is paid, the rate increases to $200 per hour, per staff member. On the wedding day, if you wish to extend the coverage, we’re happy to accommodate. A full hour will be charged if the team stays for at least 15 minutes into the hour. We do not charge for or offer half-hour increments. Any additional hour will be charged at $200 per hour, per staff member.

Team Assignment:

Your assigned photographer and videographer will be introduced 2-3 months before your wedding day, once the logistics portal has been fully completed. Each team member is carefully selected based on their expertise, experience, and professional-grade equipment. To maintain the quality and consistency of your wedding photos and videos, our team follows strict creative and technical guidelines set by SaltyFrogz. While our team members bring their own skills to the table, their personal creative work outside of SaltyFrogz is independent of our brand. The final look and artistic direction of your wedding media will always align with the signature SaltyFrogz style.

Alterations: 

Clients may request unlimited alterations to their wedding photos and videos within 30 days of receiving the final delivery. After 30 days, an editing fee will apply for each round of alterations requested. 

​

Delivery of Media:

All media (photos and videos) will be delivered within 5 weeks of your wedding day. While we don’t typically provide sneak peeks to expedite the editing process, we’re happy to send a few upon request. All media will only be delivered upon full payment being received.
